2007, ‘The year to support
small and medium sized industries’
Khaan Bank will support small and medium sized industries by implementing a special crediting system and other financial services in 2007. “The number of credits that we granted for business owners, especially small and medium sized business owners was higher than any other Mongolian bank in the last few years. Small and medium sized business owners have a great ability to create working places and they have much influence to the economy” says J. Peter Morrow. Khaan bank has opened the ‘Incubator’ for effectiveness which will be giving advice and organizing seminars and conferences for businessmen. (Centennial News) Temperature to fall drastically The Hydro-Meteorological Institute warned it will snow with severe storms in some places in the far east of Mongolia December 1, and in northern parts of the west the next day. Thus, the National Emergency Authority warned the herders to prepare for the winter and to be careful. The temperature will reach -31 to -36 degrees in the nights and -10 to -24 in the days in mountainous areas of Khangai and Khuvsgul, and in Ider, Tes, Kharaa, Yuroo, Muul, Kherlen, Khalkh river’s basins. The temperature will be -17 to -22 nightly and -5 to -10 daily in the inner gobi area of Altai. But from December 2, the temperature will increase a little in western parts and in the other areas later on. (Ardiin Erkh) |
