The Coordinate Center for construction research, advertisement and information informed that they will hold a seminar among companies and entities involved in construction sector Wednesday, discussing issues on management and the formulation of consistent construction quality monitoring.

“Nowadays, some construction companies are deceiving the public by polishing and using with old materials but saying their products are good,” one industry official who wished to remain anonymous said Tuesday.

“Because of Mongolia’s characteristics and economic capacity, 4,000 kinds of construction materials are being used including mostly imported materials. So, laboratories which can give certificates to the construction materials to ensure their quality are required. On the other hand, our local construction materials are under quality requirements. It would give the opportunity which is beneficial for both the industries and the customers if we improve the managements of the construction quality,” he said.

Organizers of the conference and seminar said improving the sector with better international standards would be a main focus.

“The seminar will be held under the subject, ‘new technique, technology and innovation in construction industry.’ We will give general understanding on the management of the construction quality, and we hope it will be an impulse to learn from each other about this important leadership issue,” said T. Norovjav, consultant for the Coordinate Center and an engineer-economist.

“It’s a basis of success and encouragement for every business organization to prefer quality products which satisfy the customers’ needs. This is why we think our seminar will be beneficial for both constructional companies and customers.”
