Finances for All People’s Congress Announced by Organizers Print E-mail

Leaders from the Mongolian National Front movement, G. Uyanga and G. Baasan, announced the money distributed by the organizers of the All People’s Congress Tuesday.

“In total, over MNT 20 million was spent,” they said at a press conference.

“MNT 8.23 million in cash was spent while the other 11.8 million was donated through benefaction, such as advertising,” Uyanga said.

Ardiin Erkh, Daily News and Today newspapers and TV 25 assisted congress organizers and broadcasted advertisements as well as live TV transmission for free, she said.  

“MNT 1.8 million was spent on media while over 6.1 million was consumed for other supplies relating to the congress’ work,” said Baasan.

Active ImageThe leaders of the Mongolian National Front considered that the first All People’s Congress was organized successfully.

Uyanga said, “The congress actualized the duties of knowing the people’s mind regarding today’s society, to observe the people’s thoughts on politics and to define the next aim of Civil Movements’ actions.”

Baasan said the Mongolian National Front will go to 21 aimags soon to dispense the information about the All People’s Congress and to organize other branches of the Mongolian National Front, as well as possibly organizing the second All People’s Congress.
